MULTIFORME Lights Up "Design in Lodi"

Art, light, and city life meet in the historic center.

The exhibition “Design in Lodi – Stories in Motion” has recently drawn to a successful close, transforming the historic heart of the Lombard city into a vibrant open-air gallery.

MULTIFORME was proud to take part in this initiative, which brought design beyond traditional exhibition spaces and into direct dialogue with the rhythms of everyday urban life. Throughout the event, the windows of Lodi’s most characteristic shops and boutiques became evocative stages, hosting a curated selection of lighting pieces along a diffuse, immersive path through the city.

For the occasion, MULTIFORME presented a selection of its rechargeable and portable table lamps, exploring the idea of light as a nomadic presence – free from cables and capable of enhancing spaces with flexibility and poetic immediacy.

Among the featured collections:

Murano Bulb (Marcantonio)
A playful yet refined reinterpretation of the classic light bulb, where handcrafted glass becomes a medium for irony and wonder.

Apollo 9 (Romani Saccani Architetti Associati)
A bold composition of sculptural forms, drawing on space-age references to create a strong and distinctive visual identity.

Mini Forest & Forestina (Romani Saccani Architetti Associati)
An elegant translation of stylized nature into glass, capable of generating intimate, atmospheric environments.

Flowers in Wonderland (Alessandra Baldereschi)
Delicate luminous flowers – poetic sculptures that seem to bloom, softly illuminating the surrounding space.

More than an exhibition, Design in Lodi unfolded as a story in motion, an opportunity to demonstrate how MULTIFORME’s savoir-faire, combined with rechargeable technology, can bring the emotional quality of light into any context.

MULTIFORME extends its gratitude to the City of Lodi, the organizers, and the shopkeepers who hosted the installations, as well as to the many visitors who experienced the city through light.
