Desafinado
CHANDELIERS AND CEILING LIGHTS WITH BLOWN GLASS SPHERES
Desafinado is a collection of Murano glass chandeliers and ceiling lamps with an essential and fluid language, designed to offer maximum compositional freedom.
The metal ceiling structure, circular, rectangular, or custom-made, supports a set of blown glass spheres suspened at different heights. Each element, hand-shaped by Murano’s master glassmakers, has an organic and slightly irregular surface that softly and naturally diffuses the light, generating a sophisticated game of reflections and transparencies.
LED sources integrated into the structure and inside the spheres, create a double light emission, both direct and diffuse, for a balanced and enveloping visual effect.
Modularity and lightness in a system of blown glass spheres
The collection features nine color combinations that range from neutral shades to blues, greens, and lilacs, available in both basic and mirrored colors. The spheres can also feature frost or pulegoso workings, further expanding the expressive and material possibilities of the project.
Light and scenic at the same time, Desafinado adapts naturally to residential and contract contexts, finding its maximum expression in spaces with significant heights or stairwells.
Fully modular and customizable, the collection can be-spoke developed with Multiforme’s technical and design support, for large-scale lighting installations or unique configurations.
