The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa is a world famous five star hotel. It borders the 17th hole of the Old Course and overlooks other golf courses and West Sand Beach in Scotland. Located within walking distance of the historic university town of St Andrews, it is an ideal location for golfers and more.
It has 175 rooms including a suite named Penthouse. The rooms feature a combination of classic, elegant and contemporary interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia.
This luxurious Penthouse Suite has its own lift and private staircase, and offers guests the best view in the hotel. Located on the fourth floor, it also features a dining area that can accommodate a maximum of eight guests, a balcony with outdoor seating and a fire pit.
To illuminate the bedroom and living area of this large suite, Occa Design Studio chose Multiforme’s Charleston ceiling light. A modern model of Murano glass ceiling light with a round and square shape, with handmade Murano glass listels finished in gold, positioned on several levels to form light volumes and plays of light.
Charleston heats the room by adding warm, golden glow to the burgundy, tobacco and grey colours of the suite’s furnishings and sophisticated accessories.
