AND THE WINNER IS...

MULTIFORME® at Venetian Smart Lighting Award 2018

Great success for MULTIFORME® lighting!

On the occasion of the third edition of the Venetian Smart Lighting Award 2018, held on the 28th of June at the “Orto Botanico” in Padua, the company won the first prize in two categories of the contest:

  •  BEST DECORATIVE LAMP IN CLASSICAL STYLE

  •  BEST INNOVATIVE PRODUCT

The judgement of the participating products was entrusted to a qualified jury, composed of lighting designers and leading personalities from the lighting world.

In the category “Best decorative product in classic style” it was our HYDISCUS chandelier that won the first prize. A unique lighting product, especially designed for the new Four Seasons Hotel in Cyprus.

The jury commented as follows:

“Chromatic and compositional solution of great scenic and emotional impact. Without renouncing to the vitreous element and colour, it changes the classical concept of ceiling light by allowing many different customizations.”

MULTIFORME® also won the Special Prize in the category “Best Innovative Product”. The 2018 Edition was sponsored by the company 3M™. Our winning Prototype is a suspension lamp with interchangeable magnetic glass elements.

The jury’s comment was the following:

“The product, winner of the 3M Award, was chosen considering 3 specific characteristics which are particularly important for 3M. The customization of the modular elements, the innovation in the use of materials, and the ability to offer wide and new spaces of expression for the creativity of Designers.”
